Hello. My name is Safiya Randera, I'm clairsentient and an intuitive. I've held a sacred plant spirit medicine practice in the Shipibo tradition for over 8 years & have trained with many healers from around the world in several forms of energy medicine, mediumship, rootwork and western shamanic practices.
I work from a deeply animistic perspective, meaning I believe everything is alive, and possesses an inherent virtue, power and wisdom. Many of my teachings come from Spiritist and Folk traditions however my path is one of direct revelation with a deep connection to my guides, ancestors and nature spirits.
"In this realm, one never receives a spiritual gift only for their own use. Never. With any gift, they’re always meant to benefit not only you but more particularly they’re to be shared for the benefit of others. It’s a requirement. It’s part of the exchange. It’s not about an individual enterprise. It’s always meant to be put at the service of your community. In many cases—particularly when a person receives a lot from one of these plants—what is required is nothing left but a lifetime of service to your community.”
I’m an artist and former film/TV professional turned healing helper via the Path of the Wounded Healer.
It was my own suffering that led me to this path. I experienced complex trauma as a child, spent most of my life struggling with anxiety, depression, fibromyalgia, severe chronic pain as the result of a serious car accident and I inherited a great deal of ancestoral trauma. I self-medicated for many years until I found plant medicine.
My work with the plants helped me recognize that spirit was already working with me through illness. Over time I began to see that my own illness could be transformed, but only when I introduced the dimension of my soul into the healing cycle. That is when my gifts were revealed to me.
I have been on this journey for over a decade now. I had no idea that it would lead me here, but it has and I am grateful. My goal is to help people find their way through illness, heal their past, clear their path, and bring their intentions to life. And ultimately, I want to encourage people to be their own healers, so they can then bring their medicine into our world for the benefit of others.
